Life can be hectic, whether you are trying to fit all the responsibilities you have into the day or needing a bit of extra cash for that unexpected bill. This is where working for our bank team can give a helping hand. Our Bank team at the trust allows people interested in working for us but want to do it flexibly; we also offer our permeant staff who need to pick up an extra shift or two the chance to work overtime via bank shifts. Offering bank work helps us bring new and fresh ideas into the trust; while also giving us the ability to help our staff the flexibility to pick up extra shifts in needed.

So, what makes working for the bank team at Sussex partnership different? We want to make sure that our bank team feel just as valued as our permeant staff, that’s why we give many of the same benefits as permanent members of staff, such as a pension, weekly payment and paid training to help you get to the next stage of your career. We also offer our bank team great pay, offering 12% higher pay than if you worked the role full-time (instead of getting paid holiday). Lastly, we put you in charge of your working pattern. You are in control and can choose to do full-time, part-time or ad-hoc hours. While working for the bank team Sussex Partnership we also actively encourage you to take shifts in areas you find interesting, which means you are not just limited to the work you signed on for.

We currently have around 1500 bank staff, with many of our team moving on to permeant roles in the trust. We still need extra help from bank staff in patient care (clinical and non-clinical), support services and administrative support, so we are always looking for new people to join the team.
