#not just a job

We run a number of recruitment campaigns across the Trust at varying times throughout the year.
These campaigns are focussed on specific teams or services and are for the purpose of increasing the exposure of specific vacancies that are crucial to the running of our services.

Health in Mind campaign
Health in Mind is dedicated to improving the mental health of all members of our community, and we're looking for talented people like you...
"Training opportunities have been plentiful, stimulating, rewarding and entirely relevant."
Jayne Herriott | Lead Nurse for the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service
"I've certainly never felt that I was alone in a difficult situation. There's always someone to talk to."
Dr Jenny Cooke | Consultant Psychiatrist with Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service (SPMHS)
"I’ve stopped at various points in my career to consolidate my skills or because I’ve loved a particular role. Advancement isn’t always necessary, but ultimately I now have a dream job as lead nurse across one part of the Trust, working to improve the safety and efficacy of nursing and our services. I am also currently working in nurse education one day a week to support and embed new roles for nurses across the Trust. I met my husband at work too, and some of my best friends!"
Lead Nurse
"There is a drive to involve more nurses in research, an area that has been predominantly one for psychologists. A stimulating and fascinating rolling module of ‘research for nurses’ motivates nurses to think about where they work and the changes they may want to bring about, or issues they may want to know more about and develop. Nurses are encouraged to put their ideas into action with full support from the nursing education department."
Jayne Herriott | Lead Nurse for the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service
"I had been a Social Worker working in a local authority for 15 years and making the move was a difficult decision, however I am pleased I did. I have never looked back since joining Sussex Partnership. I had thought that it might be a hard transition, but I soon realised I had so many transferable skills. My multiagency working and experience of using a strengths based model was really appreciated. It’s a pleasure to be working for the NHS and SPFT. It’s such a nurturing environment, I wish I had made the move sooner."
Ruth Nathan | Social Worker, Community Mental Health Practitioner
