"I’ve stopped at various points in my career to consolidate my skills or because I’ve loved a particular role. Advancement isn’t always necessary, but ultimately I now have a dream job as lead nurse across one part of the Trust, working to improve the safety and efficacy of nursing and our services. I am also currently working in nurse education one day a week to support and embed new roles for nurses across the Trust. I met my husband at work too, and some of my best friends!"

"Now is such an exciting time to join our Community Teams in Sussex Partnership Trust, as we embark on one of the biggest opportunities to develop Community Services & improve patient care that I have known in my whole career. I am passionate about engaging our nurses in these developments, and embracing the opportunity to define our roles and shout about our expertise. I have worked for Sussex Partnership for over 20 years, played an active role in many improvement projects, have always been encouraged to progress in my career and have been supported with personal developments"
