With services along the south coast from Hastings to Southampton all the way inland up to Basingstoke and Crawley, there are plenty of reasons to live and work here.
Whatever you’re in to there is something here for you to enjoy when you’re not working. From walking, cycling, getting out on the water for a spot of paddle boarding or wild swimming in our local rivers, to walking in the forest, along the beach or across the South Downs. Or maybe just simply popping to the beach and taking in the views.

Here are some of the amazing locations in our area:
The vibrant city of Brighton and Hove, with amazing cafes, bars and restaurants, outstanding shopping facilities with The Lanes, High Street and Churchill Square, and amazing entertainment. Plus, you’ve got the iconic Palace Pier and pebble beaches.
Next door to Brighton is the historic county of East Sussex with a fascinating history and a beautiful landscape. You’ve got the best of both worlds here with winding country lanes through pretty countryside, amazing beaches and the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Ashdown Forest; the home of Winnie the Pooh!
Over to the west in Hampshire there’s a mix of beautiful coastline and countryside with heritage sites packed with history. There’s also the picturesque New Forest brimming with wildlife and free roaming ponies.
West Sussex is a diverse mix of postcard perfect villages and towns, with breath taking countryside, and beaches and shares the same charm as Hampshire and East Sussex.

Or, if you want to commute into work there are fabulous road links with the new M23 smart motorway from London which is only 27 miles to Crawley and 47 miles to Brighton. London to Hastings along the A21 is 54 miles and London to Basingstoke is 45 miles along the M3. There are also rail options with London to Crawley taking around 45 minutes, London to Brighton about an hour, and London to Basingstoke between 45 minutes to an hour.
