Our staff know how amazing it is to live and work in Sussex and Hampshire and we’d love you to experience that too by coming to work with us.
With services along the south coast from Hastings to Southampton all the way inland up to Basingstoke and Crawley, there are plenty of reasons to live and work here.
Whatever you’re in to there is something here for you to enjoy when you’re not working. From walking, cycling, getting out on the water for a spot of paddle boarding or wild swimming in our local rivers, to walking in the forest, along the beach or across the South Downs. Or maybe just simply popping to the beach and taking in the views.
Sussex and Hampshire are beautiful places to visit, so why not live and work here too?
Here are some of the amazing locations in our area:
The vibrant city of Brighton and Hove, with amazing cafes, bars and restaurants, outstanding shopping facilities with The Lanes, High Street and Churchill Square, and amazing entertainment. Plus, you’ve got the iconic Palace Pier and pebble beaches.

You’ve got the best of both worlds here with winding country lanes through pretty countryside, amazing beaches and the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Ashdown Forest; the home of Winnie the Pooh!
Over to the west in Hampshire there’s a mix of beautiful coastline and countryside with heritage sites packed with history. There’s also the picturesque New Forest brimming with wildlife and free roaming ponies.
West Sussex is a diverse mix of postcard perfect villages and towns, with breath taking countryside, and beaches and shares the same charm as Hampshire and East Sussex.

"I had been a Social Worker working in a local authority for 15 years and making the move was a difficult decision, however I am pleased I did. I have never looked back since joining Sussex Partnership. I had thought that it might be a hard transition, but I soon realised I had so many transferable skills. My multiagency working and experience of using a strengths based model was really appreciated. It’s a pleasure to be working for the NHS and SPFT. It’s such a nurturing environment, I wish I had made the move sooner."Ruth Nathan | Social Worker, Community Mental Health Practitioner
"Working for Sussex Partnership has been an exciting, challenging and fulfilling career move. I have been able to utilise my skillset to positively support the clinical team and work effectively alongside our external partners. The work we do together as a team is truly valued and I am proud to be part of such a hard-working, innovative and passionate team."Sara Harding | PA & Marketing Lead, AHP
"I have worked in learning disability services for the last 20 years. I really value the opportunity to work directly with families and within a truly multi-disciplinary service"David Warner | Professional Lead Physiotherapist, Brighton and Hove Learning Disability Service
"I feel very honoured to work for Sussex Partnership, knowing that the work I do helps spread positive messages about our mental health services, within our Trust and beyond. I’m part of a really supportive team and always feel motivated to start work each day, supporting our clinicians caring for patients, and our executives who lead our amazing organisation."Simon Fielding | Communications Officer
"I hugely enjoy and thrive to support young people putting meaning back in their lives to support mental health."Steph Hutton | Professional Lead Occupational Therapist, Children and Young People Services
