Our CAMHS Locality Teams (also known as 'Tier 3') are multi-disciplinary teams comprising Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers, Art and Creative Therapists, Psychotherapists, other therapists including Occupational Therapists. The teams also take on trainees and students on placements.
Locality Tier 3 CAMHS are commissioned to work with children and young people with moderate to severe mental health presentations, including:
- Moderate to severe mood & depressive disorders
- Significant self- harming behaviour
- Significant suicidal ideation
- Obsessive compulsive disorders
- Anxiety Disorders
- Complex Trauma
- Psychosis
- Attachment disorders
- Complex family dynamics with corresponding mental health presentations
- ADHD diagnosis and medication management
- ASD Diagnosis
Treatments include group work, nursing interventions, medication and medication management, systemic therapy, psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy, trauma therapy and EMDR, individual therapy and other generic mental health interventions.

- Hastings & Rother – St Anne’s Centre, Conquest Hospital (TN37 7PT)
- Eastbourne & Hailsham – Highmore, Hailsham (BN27 3DY)
- Lewes, Uckfield & Peacehaven – Lewes Hospital, Uckfield Hospital & Peacehaven Family Clinic (BN7 1PE)
The 3 locality teams in West Sussex are based in:
- Worthing - Worthing Hospital (BN11 2DH)
- Chichester - Stockbridge Road Chichester (PO19 8QJ)
- North West Sussex - New Park House (RH12 1RJ)
