We are excited to have a BRAND-NEW CAMHS Digital Team, formed in 2021. This team has been formed from new investment in the service, for the purpose of improving access to our services for children and young people.

The aspiration of the team is to support the wider service in reducing waiting times for young people, with the current focus on completing neuro-developmental assessments. We have worked with the IT department to digitalise some of the measures used for assessment and are working with families in a 'blended' way. This means that some appointments will be face to face, some will be virtual via a secure platform and some parts of the assessment will be using digital questionnaires that families and schools can upload.

The team is led by a Principle Psychologist and Team Manager, with the wider team consisting of psychology, nursing and mental health practitioners.  Longer term the team will work with young people who are also waiting on our anxiety and depression pathway who require group or individual intervention.

If you are looking for a revolutionary team, who are paving the way for a new style of mental health care for children and young people, then look no further!
