Hampshire CAMHS Eating Disorder Service is growing. There has been increased demand for young people to access Eating Disorder Services over the past two years and we have been fortunate to be able to increase the staffing within the service. Our Eating Disorder Service is a Hub and Spoke Model. Our main Hub is in Winchester with clinics also in Fareham, Basingstoke and the New Forest.

Our CAMHS ED Service is based within a FT-AN model, this means that the model works closely with families helping them to re-discover their strengths and resources with parents taking an active role in finding ways to over their child's illness. To support this, all of our clinicians receive training for this approach. Our team offer group intervention for parents, therapy groups for young people, individual support through treatment clinics and dietetic support.

We are a Multi-Disciplinary Team consisting of Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, Dietetics and Occupational Therapy professionals. Our team has good links with the hospitals within the county and also has 2 paediatric liaison nurses. As a team we are innovative and consistently developing new ways of improving the patient journey.
