Meadowfield Hospital is an inpatient hospital for people with acute mental health problems in Worthing, West Sussex. It comprises of 3 wards that cater for adults 18 years and above and a 'Place of Safety' called The 136 suite.
Each ward has a clinic, laundry room, patient’s kitchen, dining area, TV lounge and quiet rooms including a dedicated women’s lounge. There is a range of therapy rooms including a kitchen, art room, pottery room and gymnasium and a café run by Sussex Oakleaf, the mental health charity.
All 3 wards at Meadowfield operate with open doors. This is something we are incredibly proud of, and often contributes to positive comments about the atmosphere here on any of the wards.
We have the equipment we need to care for people with physical disabilities to help those staying on our wards to remain as independent as possible.
