The ‘OPD Pathways Partnership’ aims to improve the competence, confidence and attitudes of staff working with complex offenders who are likely to have Personality Disorder. The partnership provides early identification of high-risk personality disordered offenders and we provide consultation, formulation, training and some joint working.

Our provision aims to promote offender engagement in formulation based, risk and recidivism reducing, sentence plans.

Intensive Intervention Risk Management Service (IIRMS) aims to support offenders on the pathway who are at high risk of recall back to prison because it is anticipated they will breach their licence conditions and/or the conditions of the Approved Premises. They will be the offenders who find it difficult to engage with services.

Our service is delivered in Sussex and Surrey covering 8 PS offices and 2 Approved Premises. There are approximately 850 offenders across Surrey and Sussex on the pathway (approximately 50% will be in prison and 50% in the community at any one time).

Our team is made up of Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Practitioners.
