Golden hello & relocation allowance – up to £2,000!

We value our new team members and offer financial support to help with your transition. If you're joining us as a Band 5 or Band 6 Qualified Nurse, Allied Health Professional, or Social Worker, you could receive up to £2,000 through our Golden Hello or Accommodation/Relocation Allowance.

What’s on Offer?

Golden Hello

  • A welcome payment of up to £2,000, paid in instalments over your first two years.
  • Relocation/Accommodation Allowance – Up to £2,000 (pro-rata for part-time staff) to support moving costs, rent, tenancy agreements, legal fees, travel, and essential home expenses.

Who’s Eligible?

  • External candidates applying for eligible roles.
  • Former SPFT employees who have been away for at least 24 months.
  • Candidates moving 30+ miles to be closer to their new work base.

Golden Hello Payment Schedule

  • £1,000 in your first month's salary after starting.
  • £500 on your one-year anniversary.
  • £500 on your two-year anniversary.
  • (Part-time staff receive a pro-rata amount. Payments are subject to tax and National Insurance.)

Relocation & Accommodation Allowance

  • Up to £2,000 (pro-rata for part-time staff) for moving costs, rent, tenancy agreements, legal fees, travel, and essential home expenses.
  • Tax-free when supported by receipts.
  • Must relocate within one year of starting.
